INNOCENT | EP Cover

Innocent is a romantic album that evokes an effortlessly light and angelic sensation, tinged with a burning touch of realism. The songs on this album recount encounters and disagreements, moments of ecstasy, and the challenges that love inevitably brings with time. The color palette shifts between feminine tones, with earthy and realistic hues prevailing. The font selection aims to capture the romantic and poetic essence at the heart of the theme. Textures have been incorporated to imbue a sense of mystery and fantasy, mirroring the essence of love itself.

To represent this project I was inspired by the fascinating painting entitled "Cupids, 1881", created by Julius Kronberg, which beautifully captures the essence of Roman mythology and its iconic symbol of love - Cupid. The painting depicts a group of angelic figures floating gracefully amidst a dreamlike setting. I connected with this work to the concept of another; The baroque painting Chronos Clips Cupid's Wings by Pierre Mignard, 1694. In it you can see, among other elements, two human figures. These human figures are Gods: Kronos, God of Time and Cupid, Cronos cuts Cupid's wings with the aim of making him more realistic, having his feet more firmly on the ground. As in this painting, in life love is shaped by time. Love is marked by the passage of time, by experiences, it becomes more careful, more realistic, but it does not die. From then on, I was led by ideas that led me to the minimalism of representing the essence of the theme of innocence through the wings that make up the cupids and that brought the lightness, delicacy and mystery that I needed.
